How to Make Lavender Lemonade Cocktail
Do you love lemonade? Do you love lavender? What about cocktails? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you will love this lavender lemonade cocktail recipe. It’s easy, delicious, and perfect for summer or any time you need a refreshing and relaxing drink.
Lavender is one of my favorite herbs. It has a soothing aroma and a floral flavor that pairs well with lemon. It also has some health benefits, such as reducing stress, anxiety, and insomnia. That’s why I like to make this lavender lemonade cocktail when I want to unwind and enjoy a moment of calm.
This recipe is very simple and only requires a few ingredients. You will need dried lavender, honey, lemons, water, ice cubes, and vodka (optional). You can find dried lavender in most grocery stores or online. It is recommended to use fresh lavender if you have it in your garden or can get it from a farmer’s market.
The first step is to make the lavender infusion. You just need to boil some water and steep the lavender in it for 10 minutes. Then strain it and add some honey to sweeten it. This will make the lavender syrup that will give your lemonade a lovely purple color and a subtle floral taste.
The second step is to make the lemonade. You just need to squeeze some fresh lemons and strain the juice. Then add it to the pitcher with the lavender syrup and stir well. You can adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more honey or lemon juice if needed.
The third step is to add the water and vodka. You just need to add some cold water to dilute the lemonade and make it more refreshing. You can also add some vodka if you want to make it a cocktail and give it a kick. Of course, you can skip the vodka if you prefer a non-alcoholic version or if you are serving it to kids.
How to Serve and Enjoy Lavender Lemonade Cocktail
The final step is to serve and enjoy. You just need to fill some glasses with ice cubes and pour the lavender lemonade over them. You can garnish them with some fresh lavender sprigs or lemon slices if you want to make them look more fancy. Then sip and savor this delicious drink that will quench your thirst and soothe your soul.
