Add the rice and broth

Now, you will add the rice and broth to the pot and deglaze the bottom with a wooden spoon. This will help to loosen any browned bits that are stuck to the pot and incorporate them into the liquid. To do this, add the rice and broth to the pot and stir well to combine. Make sure that all the rice grains are submerged in the liquid. Then, place the chicken pieces on top of the rice in an even layer.

Pressure cook

The final step is to pressure cook everything together until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through. This will take about 10 minutes on high pressure, plus some time for the pot to come to pressure and release pressure naturally. To do this, lock the lid on the pot and make sure that the valve is set to sealing. Then, select manual or pressure cook mode and set the timer for 10 minutes on high pressure. When the time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then turn the valve to venting to release any remaining pressure. Carefully open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
